The open nature of our grates allows for abundant ventilation and up to 90% of daylight to reach the basement.
Our grates can support up to 400 pounds while still being lightweight enough to easily remove in case of emergency.
Our grates are made entirely of lightweight tempered aluminum meaning they will never rust like custom steel solutions or degrade in the sunlight like most plastic window well covers.
